Nature in the home

This week Lou has asked for something red.
For me it has to be these.

I love tomatoes but especially local freshly picked tomatoes - they taste so sweet and fresh.

Nature in the home.

This week it is "Something White" . My garden plants are slow growing this year and this is my first hydrangea. I love these and intend to dry it and keep it for a display later in the year.

52 weeks of happiness.

1. Seeing my little cat snuggled up in the blanket I made for her.

2. Roses growing all over the side of the garden shed.

3. Stuffed rolls for lunch.

4. The stained glass window in a local church. The photo just doesn't do it justice - it is stunning.

A Perfect Evening

A rare sunny evening. I love to sit in the garden on my old bench after tea. What can be more perfect than a sunny spot, a bowl of cherries for desert and a nice coffee. I sit and read till it gets too chilly, enjoying the quiet and the heavenly smell of honeysuckle which grows beside the bench.

52 weeks of happiness

Late again.

A very quick striped blanket for Baby B's buggy.

The first honeysuckle flowering. I just love the smell of this, especially in the evening when it seems to get stronger as the sun goes down.

My garden as everything begins to flower.

My cat - she is such a gentle, loving little girl.

A tricky one this week - " A Gift "

I decided on this

Tiny apples on our apple tree. Not yet in the home I know, but they will be when they are larger and ready to be made into chutney and apple jelly. One of God's many gifts to us.

Nature in the home

Joining in again with lou's nature in the home Here

I'm not sure what this flower is but I love it. It flowers from spring until late in the year and the combination of lilac and bright yellow is so beautiful. There is a huge bush of it by my back gate and I often pick a bunch for in the house.
