A long time has past.

How does a year go past so quickly. So much time has past since I last wrote on here. We're just back from a wonderful week on a Norwegian Cruise. 

What a wonderful country. How I'd love to live there - maybe when we retire. 

Lavender Farm

Hannah and Rob had a couple of nights in a luxury hotel for their honeymoon. We looked after the boys for them and had a fun day out at the Lavender Farm.

Wedding

We have had the happiest of family events. My daughters wedding. It was an amazing day and one of the rare occasions when the family is all together.

All in all a very happy day.

Harvest.

Well the tomatoes, potatoes, and chilli peppers are ready for picking with loads more to come.

There is also a bumper crop of apples to be turned into chutney.

Alla our plants seem to have done exceptionally well this year.

Edinburgh

My lovely mum is in hospital as she had a bad reaction to medication she was on, so back up to Edinburgh I went.

I spent the afternoons visiting mum but had time for a quick stroll round the festival in the mornings.

The town was buzzing and there was a lovely atmosphere. Mum looked so much better too.

We took a trip up to Edinburgh to stay with my lovely mum and had a few days to go on some outings.

We had a busy few days at home.

Play time at the local park.

With a nice lolly to cool down.

Followed by lunch at to local cafe which has a big indoor play area.

The next day we did some painting at the pottery painting cafe.

Where we painted a tank for mummy and daddy.

We then went on to explore a local field.

Before going home and playing diggers.

A fun few days for both of us.
